FROM THE EDITORS VIRTUAL DESK
Hi everyone, as 2016 draws to a close I wanted to bring you one last newsletter for the year. This is our 50th newsletter for 2016 and wraps up what I think was a fantastic and very exciting year for VMware and virtualization. We had some amazing events from local and online VMUGs to VMworld in the USA and Europe. Across the globe, vForums were held attracting thousands of dedicated VMware fans. We had some exciting announcements such as our AWS partnership which will take shape in 2017. And of course this year we became part of Dell Technologies, a huge milestone for VMware and the IT industry at large.
I want to thank everyone who takes the time to receive and read this weekly newsletter because without you there would be no newsletter. This final edition for 2016 is therefore dedicated to our loyal newsletter readers wherever you are in the world.
I wish you a peaceful New Year and 2017.
Virtually Yours

Noah discussed recent cyber attacks in the news, and he asked, “If you were on the front page of the Wall Street Journal because of a security breach, what would that do to your business?”
