FROM THE EDITORS VIRTUAL DESK
Hi everyone, as I am sure most of you are now aware VMware have released an urgent update to certain products to address security issues that have been identified recently. For more information please go here. This is a great time to remind you to engage with your TAM on all security related items on a pro-active basis. One of the really great tools that we run on a quarterly basis is the TAM Customer Success Metrics. These are collected and can easily provide your TAM with a quick view of your current environment and the patch levels of your systems. When there is a critical update such as this one that is released it is then easy for your VMware TAM to identify the systems that require the patch and provide you with the detail and a plan to get it done as efficiently as possible. We take security related issues very seriously at VMware and the TAM program is always trying to be as pro-active as possible in this regard. We also provide updates on our Twitter and Facebook pages so please sign up to these to get an even better view of the VMware updates.

With that I wish you all a fantastic week ahead.
