Observation :

Cannot boot the windows operating system after the unsuccessful installation of VMware tools.
Windows would not boot if the VMware tools not installed correctly .
Windows will not boot and gives a blank screen .

Solution

When a Windows computer won't boot properly, you may be able to get it to boot in Safe Mode. Unfortunately Windows Installer usually won't work in Safe Mode, but here's a workaround:
1. Start your computer and press F8 before the splash screen or boot menu to enter Safe Mode.
2. Open a command prompt window.
3. Type the following commands, pressing ENTER after each command:
4. REG ADD "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\Minimal\MSIServer" /VE /T REG_SZ /F /D "Service"
5. net start msiserver
6. Double-click on the vmware tools msi/ exe and uninstall the VMtools from your system.
Boot the Windows in Normal mode. And this time windows would boot without VMware tools on it.
To install VMware Tools follow the steps
A. Log in to the virtual machine using an account with Administrator or root privileges.
B. Wait for the desktop to load and be ready.
C. Click Install/Upgrade VMware Tools. There are two places to find this option:
Right-click on the running virtual machine object and choose Install/Upgrade VMware Tools.
Right-click on the running virtual machine object and click Open Console. In the Console menu click VM and clickInstall/Upgrade VMware Tools.
D. Once the installation is successful restart the VM .
