A special event sponsored by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had Pastor Chris Oyakhilome as a guest. The event was a commemoration of the U.S. embassy being moved to the Holy city of Jerusalem and happened during Pastor Chris's 2018 Holy Land Tour; which garnered hundreds of followers from his church and others as well.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is quoted as saying: “Every Christian must love Israel because loving Israel is loving Jesus” while he lead this historic event in Israel.“
The venue for this momentous event was the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and had several ambassadors and state representatives as special guests in attendance for this once in a lifetime occasion.
Prime Minister Netanyahu is a long time friend and supporter of evangelical Christians, even being quoted as saying:
“Evangelical Christians are Israel’s best friends”
This makes this moment all the grander as Christians unite under one banner to support their faith's land of origin during the 2018 Holy Land Tour.
Pastor Chris is no stranger to the Holy Tour or Israel as this is his third year leading the event along with the members of Believers’ LoveWorld (BLW). Founded in 1987 by Pastor Chris, BLW is a megachurch, also known as the Christ Embassy Church, that since its induction, is spanning continents. With thousands of churches and millions of members worldwide, it is no wonder that Pastor Chris' invitation to this event would garner such notoriety and attention. Pastor Chris has stated that this year is the year of the Supernatural, making the now annual visit to Israel more pertinent in the coming weeks.
This year will go down in the annals of history for Israel and as such the tour will showcase the need for those visiting during the Tour to have a mind, heart, and soul, dedicated to reflection, enlightenment, and inspiration, as this is a once in a lifetime moment in Israel.
The tour is a wonderful chance for believers in Christ to walk in his actual footsteps and to see every part of the Bible come to life as they journey throughout God's chosen land. Christians will begin to see their teachings and doctrine come to life in a landscape that most could only dream of. Pastor Chris' group will be providing guides to inform those on the tour of the historical aspects of each site as well as the biblical references that can be gleaned from them.
This is Israel's 70th year as an independent state and as such, Pastor Chris's Holy Land Tour could not have been more perfectly planned. Coinciding with the U.S. embassy being moved to the Holy city itself in Jerusalem, this year is one that will never happen again. As Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has stated in the past, the state and condition of Israel are pertinent to the fulfillment of biblical prophesy as the world embarks further into the future.
During the trip Pastor Chris also said: “Israel is more open now because it has embraced democracy, unlike its neighbours.”
