FROM THE EDITORS VIRTUAL DESK
Hi everyone, as TAMs one of our regular activities is to provide our customers with personalized information related to their environment. This is an important task as it ensure that we are providing our customers with timely information on their environment with recommendations on what they should do. This has come to my attention recently with the latest updates on vSphere and vROPS as well as security advisories. These are very important as they address many issues that may affect certain situations, but also contain security fixes that have been made publicly available via our Security Advisories. Our role is to ensure that our TAM customers get this information, specifically the information related to their environment. We do this as part of our regular cadence as we have insight into the environment and are able to provide this specific and valuable information and advice to our TAM customers.
I would also like to point you to VMware Education and the many different and well regarded courses that VMware offers. I have provided information below on the new vSphere Advanced courses so go take a look.
Here are some of the announced updates:
vSphere 6.7 U2
First look at the new features of vSphere 6.7 Update 2 which deliver simplified operations, enhanced security, and support for new applications.
vROps 7.5
The biggest update for 7.5 in the capacity space is the return of the allocation capacity modeling feature that was removed in 7.0. Check out the full "what's new" post.
Advisories:
