From the editors virtual desk
There has been a lot of news lately around Virtual Desktop’s and Desktop as a Service (DAAS). I am very keen on the virtual desktop environment as many of you know and find this to be a very interesting area. For those of you that are not aware in October we acquired one of the leading providers of DAAS technology, Desktone (http://www.vmware.com/au/company/news/releases/vmw-euc-daas-10-15-13.html). Take a look at this really exciting announcement and what it will bring for our VMware customers.
Have a wonderful week and I look forward to speaking to you for the final month of 2013 next week. We have only a few more newsletters to go before 2014.
