From the editors virtual desk
Hi everyone, well this is the last “official” newsletter of 2013 before we take our annual break for the holiday season until January. Depending on the news there may be an interim newsletter that I will still deliver.
It has been a really good week for me and also a very sad week. Firstly my birthday this week, always a fun time spent with friends. I did work on my Birthday, my customers are awesome and I was so happy to see them as I have been with many of them for almost 5 years so they are considered very close colleagues.
It has also been a very sad week with the passing of Nelson Mandela. As many of you will be aware I was born in South Africa and moved to Australia only 8 years ago. I have written a small blog post titled “Remembering Nelson Mandela” if you wish to read it http://neil-isserow.blogspot.com.au/2013/12/remembering-nelson-mandela.html.
I wish everyone a happy, healthy and safe festive season. If I do not speak to you before I hope you are able to enjoy some time off with your family and friends and have an awesome festive season.
My best wishes to all of you and your families over this festive season. It has been my privilege to bring you another year of newsletters and I look forward to my 6th year at VMware and our 6th year of weekly newsletters.
Warm Wishes
Neil Isserow
