From the editors virtual desk
Hi everyone, I hope you have had a successful week. I have ben very busy with my customers and some personal learning. Last week I mentioned to you all the VCP 550D exam. I wanted to provide more information on this exam and the VCP 5 for those that are thinking of doing it.
General Information on the VCP 5 can be found here: http://tinyurl.com/vcp5dvc
There are 4 Paths as follows:
Path 1: Just starting with Data Center Technologies.
Path 2: If you have any valid VCP certification.
Path 3: you have completed a course that qualified for VCP4-DCV certification, but did not pass the VCP4-DCV exam.
Path 4: If you are a current VCP5-DCV who took exam VCP510 and now needs to recertify.
As you can see there are multiple ways to certify with VMware and it is important of you to check which one is appropriate for you. And as soon as you have certified you can start looking at one of the advanced certifications such as the VCP-DCA or VCP-DCD.
I will try and provide more information on those exams in the coming weeks but please feel free to contact me with any questions.
vForum Sydney has also just finished last week and the feedback from this event has been fantastic. It is the first one I have missed in 6 years and an event that I am very fond of, congratulations to everyone again on such an awesome event.
Have a fantastic week everyone, and I wish my fellow colleagues and customers in Brisbane a great G20 which is happening this week.
