From the editors virtual desk

Hi everyone, been a very hectic week for me this week. It seems like so much is going on before we head into what I hope will be a quieter period over December. I think this happens every year and I just forget that it does and am not prepared. I was at our local VMUG this week which was excellent and something I really enjoy. I look forward to our final meeting of the year in December and then a break until the January kick off again.

I hope your week has been good and you enjoy this weeks newsletter.

    • Introduction to VMware NSX (http://www.vmguru.nl/wordpress/?p=11969)This article is number one of a series about the upcoming network virtualization spree, specifically the one coming from VMware. I spent 14 to 17 October at VMworld 2013 in Barcelona, basically getting my mind blown by the futuristic possibilities of network flexibility. Things are changing for the network, flattening the entire stack, distributing network services throughout the virtual network (instead of the monolithic central hardware), lowering network costs and making it more flexible and simple to…
